REBUILDING LIVES THROUGH EDUCATION AND HOPE

Thanks for visiting today! We, at Kamara’s Heart, know that you will be inspired, challenged, and connected to what’s in our heart.

At Kamara’s Heart, we believe education can break cycles of poverty in West Africa. Since establishment in 2020, we’ve been:

  • Educating and nurturing over 300 vulnerable children at our free school in Sierra Leone and Reading Club in Ghana.
  • Building essential infrastructure including clean water access, toilet facilities, food program, micro business grants and fulfilments of general wellbeing needs.
  • Partnering with churches, schools, businesses, organisations and individuals to establish programs for leadership and growth, and to rebuild and empower future generations.

Kamara’s Heart Vision Beyond 2025 is transforming lives in Sierra Leone and Ghana through education, community empowerment, and sustainable partnerships. From expanding our school to developing vocational programs and fostering international exchanges, we’re building pathways for future generations to thrive and lead positive change in their communities.

DEDUCTABLE GIFT RECIPIENT

Kamara’s Heart Foundation has officially been awarded Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, meaning all donations made from 1 July 2025 will be tax-deductible.

This milestone opens new opportunities for collaboration and growth as we continue expanding our work in Australia and across West Africa. With DGR status, Kamara’s Heart is positioned to increase its impact through education, community development, and sustainable support initiatives.

What This Enables Us to Do

With your support, our growing capacity will help us:

  • Provide quality education for 300+ children at Kamara’s Heart School in Sierra Leone.

  • Support literacy for 50+ children through our Reading Club in Ghana.

  • Continue our Food Program and Christmas Gift Program for families in need.

  • Build sustainable partnerships and community-driven initiatives.

  • Establish a Wellbeing and Health Care Clinic in Rokel by 2027.

  • Develop a Community Hub for education, social services, and local enterprise.

  • Offer micro-business loans to young girls and single mothers.

  • Secure land for agricultural projects to create jobs and improve food security.

  • Invest in training, leadership development, exchange programs, and mission trips.

Thank You

Achieving DGR status has been a long-held goal, and we are incredibly grateful to our supporters, volunteers, donors, and partners who helped make it possible. This achievement belongs to all of us.
