OUR VISION
FUNDRAISING
TO BRING KAMARA'S VISION BEYOND 2025 TO LIFE, WE NEED TO RAISE:
- $175,000 for new projects, including the construction of a multi-purpose community centre
- $50,000 for ongoing operational costs, ensuring the continuity of our vital programs
Here’s a breakdown of the most pressing needs and costs:
FOOD & WATER
$5,200/year – School Breakfast Program
Providing breakfast once a week to all children. With additional funding, we hope to extend this to daily meals.
$600/year – Water Well Maintenance
Ensuring access to clean water for the students, teachers, and surrounding community.
Access to fresh clean water is essential for the health of the children and their families.
EDUCATION
$30,000/year – Educational Support for 300 Children in Sierra Leone
$100 per child provides free education, school supplies, hygiene products, and teacher salaries for one year.
- This includes books, stationery and teacher training.
- 220 of these 300 children are girls, and each dollar invested is an investment in a brighter future for them.
PLANNING FOR THE FUTURE
$1,500/year minimum – Micro Business Grants for Single Parents
$150 per grant helps set up small businesses, empowering single mothers and breaking the cycle of poverty.
$30,000 – Sustainable Farming Projects in Sierra Leone
Funding land purchase and the development of agriculture programs that create jobs and opportunities for the community.
