Embracing Orphaned Children in Rokel

These two children were roaming around the streets of Kondolo, Rokel, by themselves. They were malnourished, pale and sick. Kamara’s Heart fed them and gave them new clothes and some food to take home. The next day they came again, and the next day, and they keep coming. We enrolled them at the school and began to care for their general wellbeing. Since both their parents fell victim to Ebola disease and passed away, they have been cared for by their sister who is 19 years old and who herself has a baby to care for with no support from the father. Kamara’s Heart Foundation is now extending support to all of them.
